Technically, the blue line is the imaginary part of &epsilon(ω) for real ω, wheras the numerical calculation is the imaginary part of &epsilon(ω) for complex ω at a real wavevector. The corresponding analytical &epsilon(ω) for the complex ω is shown as a green line.
