First, a word about the night: it's meant to honor Robert Burns (1759-1796), the national poet of Scotland. On the Pav night closest to January 25, Churchill honors his 'immortal memory' with food, drink, speeches, dance, ... and did I mention drink? Scotch whiskey, to be precise.
